The other night at our PTA meeting we had a guest speaker.
She talked to us about nutrition and exercise. She told us in order to burn off 2 M&M's you had to do 20 push ups (slight exaggeration on my part) the point was, watch what you eat. Nourish your body!
I guess I wont be having any of these new guys.
It's cool.
I'm on a get fit kick.
I recently picked these books up in hopes to motivate me.

What do you do to keep yourself healthy and in shape?

  1. I recently picked up Jillian's book and cookbook. I am also reading a book by Kingsolver called Animal, Vegetable, Miracle and it is really amazing. Food is an amazing thing but it's sad how we have altered it in such a way that it no longer nourishes.

  2. I am so SAD that I just now realized you were posting here! I have missed out, friend! xo (We use that last cookbook pretty much daily. It's fabulous.)

  4. I would dig Jillian's book. She has a rocking body.

Since I love running, cycling, swimming, competition, I stay pretty fit exercise wise. It's the nutrition that kills me. If I have 150 calories to eat, i would go for candy rather than something healthy.
