The Iron Mosque was recently opened in 2010.
It's made using an "architectural wire mesh" imported from Germany and China.
It uses a district cooling system, which basically means it has cold water running through it's interior to keep the place cool with out the need for air cons. It sits on the edge of the river and all the surrounding walls are made of retractable windows. Which when all windows are opened it makes it look like you are just floating on the river.
The night we prayed here, there was a nice cool breeze drafting in.
It's most definitely a place you don't want to miss seeing.
