Masjid Negara meaning National Mosque (of Malaysia) is located in Kuala Lumpur.
It was designed by a three person team and was completed in 1965.
Rather than the typical dome used on Mosques,
it boasts a 16 pointed star main roof, making it very modern looking.
This is also a really beautiful place to relax and reflect.
It has huge blue tiled fountains that run down the main corridor.
The kids loved playing tag in the open space darting in and around it's many pillars.
