I have a small dining room. It's actually where we eat most of our meals.
The kitchen has a small pedestal table, just enough for the kiddos to have breakfast at. Don't be jealous of my "cheapest lighting in home depot chandelier" it came with the house. You think maybe this room would look bigger if I took out four of those chairs!?
I'm replacing our current table with this one from Ballard to accommodate the settee.
(It would be nice to just replace our dining room with this one)
Unless I can knock out a wall and make the dining room bigger there is really not much I can do.
So I thought these ghost chairs would be perfect.

I'm not ready to commit $400 dollars for plastic chairs.
I might just have to fake it till I make it!

Can you tell which one is the knock-off?
  (found here and here)

Of course I can just give it a face lift, like this smart chic.

  1. love, love, love the table. I, too, am in need of a dining room makeover - especially my chairs. what about some slipcovers? not the kind that fall to the floor but leave the legs exposed. I always thought those look more airy. :)
