I just received our first organic, local harvest bin. If you have a CSA in your community I urge you to take advantage of it. You'll get exposed to a variety of veggies and fruit you would normally pass in the grocery store. Our bin comes with a recipe sheet to give us an idea of what/how to make something your not used to. Beet salad, anyone? Our bin in all it's glory. And this carrot came in the shape of bunny ears. Now to put this to good use before it goes bad.
