Kind of ;)

Fashion Fighting Famine started off as an event in 2007.
It was organized by a group of like minded women in Southern California as a way to inspire a unique way to support different charities.
They recently held their fifth fashion show in 21012.

Here is what FFF's website has to say about their commitment to the community at large.

  • Creating a platform to promote small businesswomen to develop their brands and become successful entrepreneurs
  • Providing a sphere for young women to exercise their creative ambitions and develop their skills
  • Diversifying the standard definition of beauty. The models on our runway and lookbook are from all ages, body types, and ethnic and racial backgrounds
  • Furthering arts & culture for American-Muslims by supporting American-Muslim artists in fashion design
  • Empowering charitable projects in our community
