Salam, i may not be the right person to advise on raising a teenage boy, but as a teenager (i hope i still am :P), i'd say it'd be nice & the best perhaps, as a parent, to be your child's best friend at this moment cause teenagers need guidance, always, and explain to them why things are wrong and why shouldn't be done, cause i believe raising a muslim teenager nowadays isnt an easy job, temptations for them are everywhere, so explanations of things are of very great help, and islamic values shld b instilled since small as that'd be the perfect shield for 'em insya Allah against the worldly things.. <3 and 1 of the things that i think would help prevent ur teenage boy from being in love as in hvg bf-gf rship (as it is the 'it' thing for the teens nw) is to give em love, and show em ur love so that they wouldnt be lookg fr it elsewhere. :)
