As a Muslim woman I choose to adhere to a modest dress code. Besides the obvious fact that I wear hijab, the traditional head scarf worn by some Muslim women. I also always wear long, loose clothing and the only part of my body that shows are my face, hands and feet.

So when I read that the maxi skirt was making a comeback, you better believe I was excited.
There are trends I jump on (some I never jump off
and there are some that I can't wait to finish.
(to each their own)

Although I don't really wear skirts,
I like to have my options open.

  1. Cute stuff, and yeah for modesty! We need more moms willing to set a good example for their children and the world.

  3. I love skirts. We adhere to modesty here in our home too. I applaud designers who don't feel the need to make us woman look like street walkers.
