Today my girl turns 7!
I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. 7 years have passed since my life changed for the best. Serene almost didn't make it into our lives and we are so happy she did.
She is amazing, thoughtful and so considerate to others. At only 7 she has taught me so much about life. I am so thankful to have her in our lives.
When asked what she wants to be when she grows up she said
"A pb-atrician (pediatrician), teacher, princess and a mom!"
I wrote a little about her a few years ago and thought I'd share it on here as well.

  3. You're daughter (and family as well) is so beautiful! She is going to be so blessed by this letter one day. Thank you so much for sharing it! I came over from Clover Lane much impressed with your story and your courage as a mother and a woman in the midst of a ignorant world in regards to your faith. God Bless!

  5. Precious! When I was about that age, I remember telling my mom I wanted to be a ballerina, a chef, and the president. 20+ years later, I'm none of those things, but I think having ambition served me well.

  6. What a beautiful testament of faith! I loved reading your interview on Clover Lane and reading about your journey of faith with your daughter's birth. Your children are blessed to have a mother like you.
