Masjid Wilayah was the first mosque we visited when we first came to Malaysia.
As well as the place we spent the most time at during our first Ramadan spent here.
It holds very emotional and special memories.
The place is awe inspiring, there is a certain serenity that overtakes you when you walk through it's doors. I can't quite place what it is exactly, but I haven't felt it at any other mosque here.
The design is modeled after Ottoman and Malay architecture.
Mainly finding it's influence from the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.
This massive beauty can hold up to 17,000 worshipers.

  1. Same sun rises each day, yet the spots are diverse to feel its glow. It can properly be said that there is searing warmth in Death Valley or in Libya yet the individuals of Antarctic are continually freezing. online Quran teachers
